Why? Multi-Day Workshops
for-web-nancy-sampler.jpg (14330 bytes)This past year I  added  2-day,  3-day, and 5-day workshops to my workshop offerings.  I, as many other national quilting and art quilt teachers believe this format is beneficial to students. Why?
  • A multi-day format gives you the luxury of time to explore techniques in depth, develop personal projects, and generate feed-back and the exchange of ideas with both teacher and fellow students.
  • More workshop time is available for learning and exploring. The first 1/2 to 1 hour at the beginning of each 1-day workshops is used for introductions, workshop basics, room set-up, "housekeeping", etc. This is unnecessary on the 2nd and subsequent days of multi-day workshops, a real time saver!
  • This summer, I will be teaching multi-day workshops on the north shore of Lake Superior  just north of Duluth Minnesota, at Primrose on Superior.  A beautiful and inspiring location! And at the popular fiber art Fabrications Retreat in Michigan at a fabulous resort!   More information

Stress Less, Enjoy More!
I am always striving to make your beading time more enjoyable and less stressful.  After all, this is your time to have fun! If you have been in my workshops this past year, you know I have invested in a camcorder, small notebook computer, and projector to film and show "snippets" of beading techniques in my workshops. Positive response has been overwhelming!

Always on the look out for  products to make your beading time more enjoyable, three new  products are now available on my on-line store. You will wonder how you ever did without them! Click on product photo for more information

New Look to Gallery

for-web-thumbnail-kal.jpg (5556 bytes)Gallery Page

I've just added my most recent beaded art quilts to the Gallery page of beadcreative.com.  Included the "cover girl" beaded kaleidoscope quilt on $100,000 Quilting Challenge magazine, Issue 4.

The Gallery page has a new look as well.  Now you can view "thumbnail images of all the quilts and then click on the ones you want to see in a larger format.

Until the next issue,

Have Fun Beading!
