This Gallery is about a 4-year  experimental journey using a beading  technique I developed which I call Elevated Beading.  Elevated beading is constructed in two steps.  First stacks of 2 or 3 small bead supports  are constructed using the beaded stop stitch and positioned on a circular grid pattern on background fabric.  In the second step lines of beads on needle and thread are supported on top but off of the fabric surface by the bead supports.  The lines of beads might go in a line from one support to another and another…Or the bead lines might cross or wrap around each other.  Enjoy!
